Laser Marking Systems

Overview: The laser marking machine consists of four parts: laser power supply, laser, two coordinate worktable and CNC system. The numerical control system controls the worktable to move according to the user's input program and the marking process parameters. At the point of a character or pattern, a laser marking machine command is issued. After receiving the command, a laser pulse is emitted, and the laser beam is focused on the surface of the processed object through the optical reflector group.

Laser marking machine is mainly used for drawing characters and graphics on the surface of metal and non-metallic solid materials, and has been widely used in many industries. For example, a factory mark in the piston ring; a number of plastic connectors in the program-controlled telephone; on an integrated circuit on type and standard etc.. No laser marking machine, usually use stamp or printed mark, this method is easy to damage the workpiece, and are vulnerable to illegal counterfeit manufacturers. The laser marking machine is not only beautiful in marking, but also with strong anti-counterfeiting.

Control principle of numerical control system of laser marking machine

The laser marking machine consists of four parts: laser power supply, laser, two coordinate worktable and CNC system. The numerical control system controls the worktable to move accordingly according to the user's input program and the marking process parameters. At the point of a character or pattern, a laser marking machine command is issued. After receiving the command, a laser pulse is emitted, and the laser beam is focused on the surface of the processed object through the optical reflector group. Under the action of strong power laser, the surface of the object is fused or evaporated to form a trace. These dot matrix combinations are the characters or patterns to be carved. The schematic diagram is shown in Figure 1. According to the movement of the worktable, the laser marking machine can be divided into three types:

1. Scanning marking;

2, stroke marking;

3, path optimization marking.
