How To Clean The Laser Cutting Machine Lens?

The optical lens in the laser system is a consumable product. In order to prolong the service life and reduce the use cost as much as possible, it is necessary to clean the lens strictly according to the standard. In the process of replacement, the placement, detection and installation of optical lenses should be paid attention to making lenses free from damage and pollution. After a new lens is installed, it should be cleaned regularly.

Specification of lens cleaning operation for laser cutting machine

When the laser cuts the material, a large amount of gas and spatter will be released on the working surface. These gases and spatter will cause damage to the lens. When the contaminant falls on the surface of the lens, the energy will be absorbed from the laser beam, which leads to the thermal lens effect. If the lens has not yet formed a thermal stress, the operator can remove it and clean it. During the installation and cleaning of the lenses, any stickiness or even the fingernails printed with oil drops will increase the absorptivity of the lens and reduce the service life. Gem laser laser lens used in daily operation as an example, must adopt the following precautions:

1, do not use the bare finger to install the lens. Take a finger or rubber gloves.

2, do not use sharp instruments to avoid scratching on the surface of the lens.

3. When the lens is taken, the film can not be touched, but the edge of the lens is taken.

4, the lens should be placed in a dry, clean place to detect and clean. A good table surface should have several layers of cleaning wipes, and several piece of lens cleaning paper.

5, users should avoid talking above the lenses and keep food, drinks and other potential contaminants away from the working environment.

In the process of cleaning the lenses, a relatively small risk method should be used. The following procedure is set up for this purpose, and the user should adopt it.
1, blow the balloon will float off the original surface, especially the surface of micro particles and floc lenses, this step is necessary. But do not use compressed air on the production line, because the air contains oil mist and water droplets, which will deepen the pollution of the lens.

2. Use pure acetone to clean the lens. This level of acetone is almost anhydrous, which reduces the possibility of lens contamination.
The cotton ball dipped in acetone must be cleaned in light and made in a ring. The cotton swab is dirty and must be replaced. The cleaning should be done once to avoid the wave.
If the lens has two coated surfaces, such as a lens, each surface needs to be cleaned in this way. The first side needs to be placed on a clean lens paper to play a protective role.

3. If acetone can't remove all the dirt, then wash it with vinegar. When the acid vinegar is cleaned, it is used to remove the dirt from the dissolving of the dirt, but it does not cause damage to the optical lens. The acid vinegar can be experimental (diluted to 50% strength), or a domestic white vinegar containing 6% acetic acid. The cleaning procedure is the same as acetone washing, then remove vinegar and dry lenses with acetone, then change cotton balls frequently to completely absorb acids and hydrates. Until clean.

4, when pollutants and lens damage cannot be removed by washing, especially due to metal splashing and fouling, the best way to restore good performance is to replace lenses.
